Sebastian Palmer
BJJ CoachFirst degree BJJ black belt under Jamie Morrison of The Arena/ Roar MMA.
I’ve been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2012 and attained my black belt in 2021. Alongside this endeavour, I’ve trained in wrestling, kickboxing, and boxing. Throughout that time I’ve competed across both BJJ and MMA and bring a ‘tried and true’ lens to how I try to help develop others as a coach.
I find coaching to be a sincerely rewarding endeavour, I like to break things down, convey concepts and ideas, and help bridge understanding of the art beyond the application of techniques. I’ve been blessed and fortunate enough to have spent my entire jiu-jitsu tenure under the gaze of Roar MMA Rockingham’s head BJJ coach, Jamie Morrison. In the realm of coaching, I like to think analytically, strategically, and add in (no small amount of) scrappiness.
Come find out why this training room catalyses the calibre of martial artists it does.
