Min Westbrook
Kids CoachI developed a love for movement and martial arts at a young age, through family influence and Jackie Chan movies (I particularly loved watched the outtakes and the practice sessions). My martial arts journey began in a traditional Japanese art form, Aikido under Shihan Harry Ng (7th Dan), it was a great way to learn discipline. As I got older, I became more interested in combat sports applications, pivoting to combat sports styles that are more applicably dynamic. This led me to my favourite styles, BJJ and MMA.
I have a passion for supporting young and new practitioners in developing heath-promoting habits, explore their love for physical activity, and hone fundamental movement patterns that will set them up for strong techniques and skills. It truly excites me to be part of the Ninjas and Kids programs and I look forward to being part of their journey.
