Daniel Peeney
No gi BJJ black belt under Steven Kennedy at Kickass MMA
I have trained for over ten years in BJJ, wrestling, kickboxing, Judo, and the in-between bit, which is the MMA skill set.
I have worked consistently with some of the best Australian MMA competitors currently fighting today, such as Abdalla Bidaya, Aldin Bates, and Jack and Josh Della.
I recently travelled the nation for 18 months and was fortunate to train at several gyms home to fighters such as Jake Matthews, Stephen Erceg and Jimmy Crute, as well as upcoming stars like Jonathon Micallef and Thomas David.

Coaching fighters is my passion; I’ve learned from the best out there. I’m keen to work with athletes with the commitment, intelligence and resilience to do what it takes to reach the world’s premier competitions. In return, I will give you the skills, cage craft and knowledge needed to compete with the best.
Eugene Bareman is my inspiration for MMA, and his approach is one I aspire to emulate.
