Johanna Skiba
Women's BJJ Coach
I started Jiu Jitsu after watching women in the UFC, being inspired to be strong, capable and badass. I joined a club when I was 21 and never looked back, practising in elements of striking, wrestling and primarily Gi and No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, over the past 9 years.
I have competed and seen success at state and national level competition. I have trained at gyms in England, France, America and Estonia and that has given me an incredible scope of Jiu-Jitsu practice.
As a qualified primary school teacher, I understand the importance of detail – breaking down techniques and effective application of Jiu-Jitsu practice. I love helping people to become stronger, more capable and better versions of themselves through Jiu-Jitsu, on and off the mat.
